Sayuri watched from the tree, awed. She remained quiet as she thougt it as best.

Roka pulled back a little to look Haku over, examining his dark brown eyes thoroughly. "...I could swear I've seen you before. Did you use to live in this village or something?"

Haku stiffened. Too many inquiries into his past weren't welcome. But he could still answer this question. "Yes, when I was younger I lived here for a while. Around when they started planning to build that large bridge, west of here..."

‘Okay. The bridge…?’ He hummed softly to himself, trying to recall if he’d met anyone like this…guy. A younger, smaller version, of course. He would have been, oh…ten at the time? ((Just making up an age, I dunno when they planned the bridge.)) He started using his powers a lot more during those years. Even without a teacher to help, he’d improved in them pretty quickly and mastered several water techniques.
He also had some –very- close calls. Too close. Lots of people nearly found out the truth about his family at that time. He was lucky, especially that his powers changed him just enough to be hard to recognize. Did that have something to do with this…?

Looking closely at the expressions on the young men's faces, she cocked her head trying to figure what they were thinking. Listening intently but not meaning to intrude on their privacy she sighed, closing her eyes, her body letting out tension with that loud puff of air.

Haku heard Sayuri's sigh. He figured out she was there a few moments ago, but hadn't had the chance to greet her yet, what with the sudden stroll down memory lane. He sifted through his past carefully. He couldn't remember anything out of the ordinary happening.
Training, his life with Zabuza-san, and such...but no unusual or impacting things that involved meeting someone. He frowned. No, nothing. He was about to open his mouth and suggest it was just a coincidence that they felt like they'd met, when...
*flash back * With his teacher fast asleep and the stars peeking out from behind the raven-colored veil, little Haku woke up to hear his rabbit, (because, as a kid, he really did love white rabbits, for some reason...) 'Snow puff,' hopping his merry way out the door into the night. Haku couldn't understand -why- he could hear the little bunny paws in the distance until he woke up enough to realize he forgot to lock the cage. Again.
He bolted up from his bed and went out the door, looking all over the path for his little friend, but 'Snow puff' (perhaps in protest of his name) was no where to be found. "Yuuki-chan?" Haku called, small face twisting up in frustration. "Yuuki-chaaan!"
Finally Haku reached the end of the dirt road which led him to the part of the village that bordered the water. He thought he saw his bunny at the end of one of the docks. "No! Bad bunny!" He ran to catch up...only to realize it was actually a slightly bunny shaped, white bag. 'Aghhh...'

Fea sat hidden in some shadows. She had her eyes open but blended amazingly well. She watched all of this occure for a while. She always loved watching. She was also not done taking care of her pregnant friend. She had sworn to protect her and every time she could get out of the mansion, like today, that was what she did. she was slightly mad a Kabuto-san for doing htat to the poor girl but she could never stay mad at him. none the less she would take care of mother and child adn protect them with her life. She sat watching the handsome boy, her friend, and the cute little girl(Haku) talking.

She didn't even sense Fea nearby ; her eyes were shut fast, and she was on the brink of sleep. Not having much these past few weeks, maybe it'd be ok to sleep a little while...
