For the moment, Roka ignored her question. As much as he’d like to things going back to being light and playful, and he’d let it go if she really wanted him to, he wasn’t going to ignore the real problem. Wait until she was ready to talk? Sure. Pretend he hadn’t heard that? No.
“I always care about my friends.” He replied in a low, gentle tone that somehow still resonated with conviction. It was in Roka’s nature protective about people he cared for, friends, family, or otherwise. He’d lost too much not to be. It normally didn’t manifest itself so clearly as it was now, but Fea seemed to need reassurance.
“And I’m willing to listen to them, too. Especially if its something that’s hard to say. Because…” He knew the phrase coming next was cliché, but it was said with too much sincerity to sound as cheesy as it could’ve, “that’s what friends are for.”
After a moment, he continued, “No, I don’t have any suggestions, as long as it’s not any worse than ‘Bouya.’ And, in spite of what ideas my demon form may give you? Anything fish related is heavily discouraged.” He gave her a mock-stern look.
It seemed the chakra’s presence was keeping its distance now, though Roka wasn’t sure why. The house was about half a mile away now, so it looked like this was going to be a pretty uneventful trip after all…
((…or not.))

((Utoh)) Fea smiled and took her hand. "I think I know one." She said with a daker green tinge in her cheeks from the though of him as a friend. "How do you like *Hitokusa-san?" She asked slightly looking down and letting go after she said it very fast. She didn't know what he'd think of it she hoped he'd like it! She didn't know if she'd be comfortable witht he strange chakra hearing it, but that was less of a thought then how Roka-san would like her idea. She noticed the chakra was dieing down but that didn't mean it could hear.
* means One kind

((Hehe, my characters almost never get off that easy. And the name sounds nice, but...still I got really confused by looking it up...do you mean "One of a kind"? Like, unique?))

((Thought so, thanks. =) ))
When Fea said she'd thought of something, Roka was expecting more teasing or a somewhat better, but still intolerable pet name. 'Hitokusa?' He blinked. 'One of a kind?' The half-demon mentally tested out the name and unconsciously started to smile. Maybe pet names weren't so bad, after all... "Hai. I like it." And Roka's eyes silently suggested that he was happier about it than he let on. "Now about yours--"
Roka didn't finish that thought, because just then a small creature, which seemed to be the presence following them, jumped out of the thick shadows. It was...a bat? Eh, it really looked like a cross between a bat and a dog, with the eyes of a snake. And a tail oddly like a lizard's.
The brunet walked up to it carefully and, when it didn't back away, Roka smiled. "Hey, little fella..." He petted its over-sized ears and it started to make a weird, purr-like sound. "Good boy. I bet you were just lonely, huh?" It kept purring, so he picked it up. "I do believe we've found our stalker."

"The stalker was much more hateful and feirce when I felt it, Hitokasu-san. I don't think something so small could cause it." She said with a slightly furrowed brow. The ame was easy to say but it was a little different for saying it for the first time. "I know I'm usually parinoid but still... it seems a bit... wrong." She said searching the darkness that the lizzard came from from far away looking for something that could show it was a pawn or something. After all nothing is as it seems.

‘Yeah, she has a point…this is odd.’ Roka stroked its fur and glanced around cautiously, but he didn’t feel anyone else nearby now. “Maybe it thought we were edible or one of its enemies?” He offered.
‘No…’ Really, the excuse didn’t cover it. He’d seen this kind of creature before and he could recall a few other demon pets, but none of them really acted like that--much less turned from nasty to friendly in mere seconds. “Better paranoid than dead.” He replied, before taking one last look around. “Whatever it was, it’s gone…for now.”
He continued walking, and up ahead the shadows finally dispersed. Beyond them was the house he was sure—if only by the feeling it gave off—belonged to his family. It only had one floor, but it was large enough. It was decorated with calming sea greens, deep or light blues, silvery and pearl-like colors forming a combination that radiated peace and comfort from its corner of this world.
A bridge-like walkway up to the front door was surrounded by a natural-looking garden and some small pools filled with strange, colorful water plants and flowers, or fish. The yard itself was made of velvet-like, emerald moss instead of grass. A few willow-like trees stood beside the pools, their branches hanging down as if to touch the earth, and some colorful bird-creatures sat in them, singing softly.

"It's breath taking Hitokasu-san!' She said looking all over! She looked at the bridge as if it were a suicide mission and hoped not to walk an any grass that might contain water residue. She took a breath and still looked around slightly parinoied about the stalker. She smiled to him and decided he should go first. It was, after all, his mission and his family.
"So what goes through you're head when you're about to meet the infamous family?" She saked jokingly as if he were meeting her father and sister. Itwas rediculious for an idea but he was fun to tease, and probibly the only guy she would. Even Kabuto-san didn't get that honor, she was eaighter too formal with them, or too shy and nervious. This was different, the only none female person she was ok with teasing.
