The water felt—more than sounded—like it was humming or maybe singing softly, when Fea touched it. It was still just slightly warm and, as Roka had hoped, didn’t hurt burn or hurt her. Its pure, light-like nature apparently didn’t contain whatever it was that Fearia was allergic to. He smiled. “And now you know.” He announced triumphantly, referring to the time she’d asked him what water felt like. No matter what came of this trip, letting her have that would’ve been worth it.

She felt a gentle smoothness wash over her finger. As if it were healing her. Her soul felt lighter as she felt the cool caress of the water's surface. "It doesn't burn!" She exclaimed excitedly as she lowered her hand further in to capture more of the coolness across her self.

Roka's smile grew brighter. Seeing her this happy...yeah, this trip was definitely worth it. He opened a container for water at his side, which he mainly used to fight with, and filled it with another pool of the healing water. Maybe, if he could study it, they could find some way to swim together some day. It was at least worth a try. "I'm glad." He would wait and let her enjoy this moment as long as she wanted before they moved on.

Fea looked up at him and watched him. This trip had been amazing. "How dose it work?" She asked hoping he would understand what her brain could barely crack out about the workings of the water and why they didn't harm her at all.

"It's pure." He explained, staring at the glow of the water thoughtfully. "Because of its origin, which I don't completely understand, mind you...it doesn't have any impurities like other sources of water. And it can also purify other things, like wounds that have venom in them. I've even heard that a few drops of this in a bottle of poison would make it safe to drink. I'm not going to try it, granted, but..." He shrugged, smiling. "It contains properties which alleviate pain and accelerate your body's natural ability to heal, so even if it could hurt you, you would never know it, because it would simultaneously heal you. I think that's why fire demons can touch it."

Fea darkened at the statement. Just when she had hoped to be different from the earlier demon it crept its way into conversation again. "Maybe." She said withdrawing her hand gently and drying it on her dress. She tried to brighten again while straightening and looking at the handsome man before her. "Shall we move on?" She asked looking into the deep blue eyes.

((xD Ah, well, you wanted an explanation...!))
"Not that they have anything to do with you." Roka added, when he noticed Fea's darkened eyes. He didn't totally know why, but he sensed she did not appreciate the comparison. He might've had enough thought to realize most people wouldn't have appreciated it, especially when many demons were so ugly...but of course, he had met so many beautiful ones, and this was so normal to Roka, he didn't even realize the possible social mistake. "Yeah...sure." He moved to lead them out of the cave, but still feeling like he'd done something that required further amending, on impulse, as he moved past Fea, he paused to kiss her cheek. He blushed, faintly, then proceeded to the back of the tunnel to the silvery blue light at the end.
