Saias doppelgangers dissapeared as Roka hit them with kunais. She decided a more up-close attack would do more damage. She weakened the hold on the water and armed with a her dagger she went through the water and prepared to hit Roka.

Roka drew his katana as quickly as possible, just barely side-stepping and deflecting the dagger off to the side, so Saia would go past him. Next he swept at her feet with the blunt back of his blade to throw her off balance. "Straight-forward, aren't you? Pretty fast, too."

Appearing next to Rinjin Kioku watched the battle, "so this is where Saia's been hiding! Figures... nothing beats sunlight and sand..." Kiken hissed, "I know YOU dont mind, but heat isnt MY thing," she replied.
As if just noticing the giant dragon next to them Kioku smiled, "hello, long time no see." Though his partner was her usual nonchalant self, he was still weary of the large creature. "Though I'm glad someone found my lost puppy, mind telling me why Fish Boy is out in the desert?" she asked, smiling innocently.

{{Hn? Oh...it's you.}} Rinjin didn't really know Kioku, as they had only really had anything to do with each other during the battles Roka had against her. In spite of that, the acknowledgement was not unfriendly. He had come to accept the fact that Roka made friends with strange people and found some way to accept those he might and even did have to fight against.
He, being a dragon and not a half human, figured that this was just one of those complex 'human issues' he just didn't understand. That, or it was a 'water demon' thing. Maybe both. Rinjin didn't know or care as long as his partner was happy. He mulled over the girl's question, casting a warning glance at the snake whom he was less fond of than Kioku, and eventually decided it wouldn't hurt Roka for him to explain.
{{Roka's had to take a lot of time to recover after that fight and he's been training with me a lot lately, trying to figure himself out and such. We're in the desert because this place has limited water and...he's been concerned about history repeating itself, so we've been staying out of his element for a while. I don't think it was really water that triggered it, but it's still not a risk we've wanted to take.}}

Saia grunted as she hit the ground. And whirled around in time to catch a glimpse at a familiar figure a few feet away. "Ooh great. More pressure!" she said mostly to herself. Saia was breathing quiet heavily as she took another lunge at Roka. She was starting to get frustrated that Roka appeared unaffected.

Roka also spotted Kioku just as Saia came at him. In his surprise, seeing her again after the fight, he forgot himself and stared. When he remembered the spar, it was a few seconds too late. It made him grimace when Saia's lunge with her kunai managed to hit into his shoulder, tearing into the skin. He grabbed her arm and pulled it and the kunai away from his wound, then shoved her backwards.
"Long time, no see, Kio." He greeted uneasily, trying to keep his focus on the spar at hand. "I see you're doing better after our...fight. I'm glad."
