Hey yo what up ;D
I was flicking through random role play posts today, and at the same time I was role playing on dAmn network ( the deviantART chat rooms ) as well as on other ProBoards sites ( yes that's right I'm having an affair <3 )
Anyway, what I noticed is a total lack of fatigue here on NU. Now, I'm not criticizing anybody, and I hate to sound like I'm being horrible or whatnot, but it has to be said. Some of you might have noticed, that a majority of the characters here are unable to pass out. They can use technique after technique after technique...
But you an also auto-hit, which I find really annoying ( stating my own opinion ).
What I suggest is a scheme where you have chakura points. These points depend on what rank you are, and this is the base of it.
Academy Students can only have E and D rank moves.
Genin are permitted to use E, D, and C ranked moves.
Chuunin are allowed upto B rank moves.
Special Jounin can go up to A rank moves.
And Jounin and ANBU can both use up to S ranks.
This is to ensure that the distance between each rank varies immensely.
Academy students and Genin get one point
Chuunin get 2
Special jounin obtain 3
Jounin 4
and ANBU 5.
OK, this is how it goes: One point is equivalent to one S rank, two A ranks, four B six C and eight D ( sixteen E but irrelevant they aren't used much ) So if I was to use an A rank, I would NOT be able to use an S rank.
This then gives the opportunity for people to rank up accordingly, as well as learn different techniques and make more bonds with others as they learn these techniques.
On the topic, I would like to point out auto-hitting, as well as auto-dodging. Not one character can avoid every single attack, and not one character can land every single attack either, but it seems to me that a lot of people are under this impression.
IF YOU DODGE: You must state clearly the way and how you did it if there were any repercussions, and you must make it believable.
WHEN ATTACKING: You MUST give the opportunity to your opponent of dodging or taking the attack.
Example? Sayuri aimed her jutsu towards < insert name > Says the fact that I haven't hit but its aimed at the person.
This is just my opinion bear in mind! Some may feel this will constrict and tighten the role playing experience, but for me their is no experience while I cant land a hit and I'm getting beat up without the chance to defend. Just bear it in mind, and let me know what you think - but in the end it's KG's decision.
