She looked over towards the celebrating residents and smiled. "Oooh!" she squealed with excitement. "Are you the celebrating type?" she asked him with thrills.

Haku glanced around the various booths thoughtfully and shrugged. “Well…not usually, but…it sounded like fun.”

Sayuri, having never been to a festival before, found it hard to contain her excitement and practically floated with happiness. Not knowing what to do she glanced back and forthe between the street ahead and Haku, waiting for him to suggest something.

Haku glanced around at the large array of games and prizes, animal and demon masks, brightly colored kimonos in the crowd, booths filled with food...it was difficult to just pick a place to start, but he found a particular game which looked like fun. He shyly placed his hand in Sayuri's and glanced over to see if she minded being led over to the game he chose.

She smiled shyly back at him and followed wherever he was atking her, giggling. "Ooooh, where we going, Haku-kun?" she asked excitement wavering her voice.

Haku led them over to the game and smiled. They could both play and if either of them won, the prizes were colorful butterfly, bunny, fox, or wolf masks (because...I like them,) and a small assortment of stuffed animals. "Just...looked like a good place to start. Do you want to...?" He offered, willing to pay. It wasn't much, of course, but it just seemed like the thing to do.
...Not that this was a date. Nooo, no...it wasn't...just suspiciously similar. 'Right, suuuure. That's why you're -not- still holding her hand, huh?' He blushed.

Her eyes scanned over the prizes, a little dazed with the crowds and the colors. Noticing Haku's offer, she grinned and nodded, giggling. His sudden blush was becoming a regular part of being with him and she laughed, squeezing his hand gently.

He -tried- not to, honestly, but it seemed Sayuri had a talent for making his face change color. It wasn't something anyone else could do so easily. But she did. Hopefully playing the festival games would help. He paid for them both and, after testing out the game, (I haven't been to a Japanese festival before...so...as to what kind of game, I dunno) he won and was allowed to pick out a stuffed animal as a prize.
While he would've preferred a mask, maybe he could pick out something that Sayuri would like?
