Meanwhile, Rinjin was finally returning Yuri to Konoha and Charon-sensei, dropping off Lloyd in the process. And he was also currently going out of his own mind, but unlike Roka, it was with worry. 'I knew I sensed something about those tattoos. I should ask the elder dragon about this, but if I go back to my realm, Roka might not be able to summon me back here, and I couldn't help.'
//Am I losing my mind...?// ... //Rin, what's wrong with me?// The words echoed through Rinjin's thoughts. Roka sounded confused, exhausted, even a bit freaked out, but he could feel the massive amounts of energy radiating off the Mist ninja, even though he was miles away. A strange contradiction. In their last battle, Roka seemed like he wanted to keep fighting, even after their objective was accomplished. It was happening again.
Focusing on all this, the concerned water dragon didn't really notice the dark presence seeping through their telepathic link. {{I'm coming back for you, partner. Just hold on.}} It did not do anything to dispel his worry when his only reply was a dark, psychotic chuckle from the half-demon's mind.

Using one hand she slashed the water away and jumped back a bit. She lifted her blade to eye level, her eyes delighting at the sight of the blood. Taking in a long breath she paused and beamed at Roka, "your blood... I've seen the blood of people who become demons a few times... but your different arent you Roka?" Her voice seemed to sing, her body swaying slightly, "this blood... you have an actual demon dont you?" Pulling the blade a bit closer she almost licked it but a fierce warning from Kiken stopped her. Pulling out a vial of blood she tossed it at Kiken, "dont tell me what to do when your in such a useless state!" The vial shattered and Kiken drank from the puddle, his wounds slowly healing. "Now, lets see this demon of yours!" Kioku cheered, charging Roka again, her movements increasing in speed as her body finished recovering.

"...Different?" He chuckled softly, able to avoid her blade this time. "Different, yes. Have, no. I don't have a demon. I am an actual demon. A real monster. That's what I am." For a moment, his eyes flickered between their human blue and their soulless, demon white. A part of him resisted that statement.
Roka jumped up and onto a nearby tree branch. While the ice Kioku had knocked away turned into kunais and threw themselves at her, Roka formed a few hand-seals. "Ninpou, kiteinu shawaa." And spat a large amount of needles from his mouth at her. This was mainly to buy him time, though. =Stop resisting. Don't fight it anymore...don't fight your true nature.= ((It probably isn't, but in case it's confusing, //This is Roka talking to Rin// {{This is rin to Roka}} 'This is normal thoughts' and =This is the bloodthirsty entity buried deep inside Roka's mind that's currently trying to take over his body.= ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) ))

Sayuri paid close attention as it was brought to by Shia. She nodded, very slowly in agreement, and then with a resigned kind of sigh, she dropped to the floor, crossing her legs, and resting her arms across her knees.
"You're right Shia. This is Kioku's fight. If we join in, we'll be fighting both Roka and Kioku. The only thing we can do is to sit and wait." Probably not in such a way as Sayuri had, almost carelessly and casually, but still. "We remain as backup. We're still here as allies, as accomplices. We can't leave to abandon her, but unfortunately, she's claimed this fight as her own, and there's nothing we can do." Her voice had become monotonous, from exhaustion or from boredom, she wasn't sure.
The Uchiha's sharp eyes watched Roka closely. Someone who, strangely, when she first met, had made friends with. He was changing before her eyes now, just as he had the first time; playfully splashing water at him (well, it was a tidal wave, but the details aren't important) had had him transform into some kind of merperson. At the time, if not for the shock, it'd have been quite funny.
But the transformation he was taking now awakened a small emotion in the pits of Sayuri. She didn't like it and it made her irritated with herself. She couldn't pay attention - the emotion was increasing and overwhelming. It was fear.

Knowing she couldn't block all the ice she dropped into the ground. "Even better! Show me your true self!" she jeered, swimming through the surrounding area, making her voice come from every direction. Suddenly two snakes shot up from the branch Roka was on and wove themselves around him. Once secure they turned back into the tree, imprisoning their target. Kioku quickly jumped out of the tree and threw a few shurikens, cloning them as they neared Roka.
"Show me or die!" she sunk back into the tree and reapeared above him in a different branch. Pushing off it she dove at his head, her sword aimed directly down.

Using his newly acquired strength, Roka was able to rip off the parts of the tree that had been snakes moments ago. Holding onto the branch with his left hand, he swung down without letting go, to avoid the shurikens, but two sliced each of his cheeks and one stuck in his right arm. He hissed irritably. "Impatient, aren't we?" He swung back up to kicked Kioku in the stomach to counter her aerial assault. After attacking her, he dropped from the tree, then proceeded to drain the plant of all its water, causing it to wither away.
He smirked as he shaped it into a large, familiar form. "Aibou mizu bunshin no jutsu." The water had formed an exact copy of Kiken, in his large form. The copy threw itself at Kioku, wrapping its long body around her, and constricting like it had done to Roka, then tried to sink itself fangs into her arm. As much as he enjoyed giving Kioku a taste of her own venom, Roka busied himself with preparing for his next attack.

Unable to block the attack she focused on twisting in the air so she would land on her feet. Before she could do anything, the snake had her trapped but she just smiled. Once the snake bit her the clone revealed itself and melted into a puddle of mud.
"Try again!" she laughed, rising from the ground directly behind Roka, her eyes glowing with excitement. Ignoring her sword, Kioku reached for his shoulder so she could pull him back while her other hand was aimed at his back. With the force of her hand and the force of his body being pulled closer she knew her hand would easily be able to grab his heart.
((Ugh... typers block... >.<))

The Roka in front of her, a clone Roka had made while Kioku was distracted by the snake, smirked as it melted when she tried to take its heart. As it melted, the water that it turned into surrounded Kioku's body, growing and creating a bubble around her. "So should you, if you live long enough."
Inspite of the fact that she could hear Roka's voice echoing through the water, he was no longer visible. "Hyouga Kyuu, Glacier coffin!" Large, thick icicle spikes formed inside the bubble all around Kioku and, all at once, tried to impale her.
((No prob. =P Ahh, I had other plans in mind, but you grabbed him, sooo...this works.))
