Llush green blades of grass spiked up for miles around teh border of the Cloud Village. It seemed so 'spiked' that it could have pierced flesh, but once you lay down on the abnormally long ground's blanket, it was soft, almost a caress to the human's body. This is how it was for Sayuri, who was laying on her front, propping herself up on her elbows. Her legs were bent slightly, and hung over her thighs, moving gently and slowly, giving another reason why thsi place looked so calm.
Her thin fingers picked at single blades of grass at a time, her long nails that snapped so often making clean neat slits along the middle. Sayuri didn't like the color green sometimes. It could be too bright or too dark, but her least favorite shade was of the sickly yellowy type. The reason she felt so calm around this particular shad of green was that it reminded her of a slight minty color.
Mint was used as a refreshing herb, and alone in the field, that's what she felt. Large clouds were set low, declaring teh village rightfully named, but sunlight managed to forge it's way through the veil of teh rain container, beaming gently down, grass shimmering beneath it's godess.
"...Won't somebody save me..." Sayuri began very slightly. Her words were breathed out in a sigh, but not of contempt or of resolution. "From this boredom." she finished her sentence, boredom showing through her netting of words that leaked past her thin dull lips.
Sighing again, Sayuri rolled over to lie on her back, her hair sprawled away from her shoulders and face a small smile giving a playful attempt of happiness on her face.
