Roka sat on one of the cliffs overlooking the village. A cool breeze swept over the area and brushed his bangs out of his eyes, so his far-off expression and old scar were both visible.
((Just 'cuz the Rock village hasn't had any activity. =P))

Shia hauled her heavy backpack over her shoulder again. It kept sliding off. She was exhausted from travelling, and needed a good resting spot.
She plonked the backpack down and settled inbetween some tree roots. Taking the ribbon out of her ponytail, she shook her hair loose. Shia grabbed for some of her food and started wolfing it down.

Roka glanced around curiously when he was pulled out of his thoughts by the sound of labored breathing and someone eating. He had to look behind him, down, about a stone’s throw away. ‘That girl…’ He reached for his sword, paused, and decided against it. For now, anyway. Their fight wasn’t personal. Instead, he watched her warily for another minute before commenting aloud, sort of amused, “Interesting table manners for a lady.”

Startled, Shia choked on her bread. Coughing, she hit herself in the chest.
When she recovered, she looked up. "Who of us is the lady?" she asked, grinning, and standing up.

Roka snorted, but he was more amused than annoyed. “Neither of us, apparently. My mistake. I guess you only hit like a girl…”

"......." An angry vein throbbed in her temple. "Is that a challenge?" She gritted her teeth into a wry smile.

Roka returned her smile with a smirk. “Hardly, some would just call it honesty…unless your question was intended to be?” He stood and stretched, though not as an attempt to leave. “Were you actually a girl,” Roka shrugged, smiling, “That wouldn’t be much of a comment. Any girl hits ‘like a girl,’ period.”
((On a technicality, Tsunade ‘hits like a girl,’ and no one complains…or at least, no one that lived to tell about it.))

Saia watched the humorous exchange with a smile. She sat and decided to watch the exchange without much comment and a small smile still on her lips.
