"Niisan!" she screamed. "Niisan, look!"
Sasuke walked out into the yard and his eyes fell upon his little sister, Sayuri.
"What is it?" he sighed.
"Look I've found the last daisy of the winter season!" she breathed, as if her words were strong enough to break the flower.
he crouched down beside her.
"Shinobi shouldn't care about flowers. They shuld be determined to train everyday." he replied.
"But, Sasuke," she protested matter-of-factly. "Whenever I ask Itachi-san he says the next day and pokes my head-" her eyes lookd up to twards the spot in which he prodded her. "and your always to busy!" she mumbled.
"Well Sayuri, maybe your lucky. Come, train with me." he said a small smile spreading across his face something he rarely did.
"Huh? Seriously, Niisan? You'll let me train with you?!" she threw her arms around his neck and squoze him tightly.
"Arigato!!!" she exclaimed of pure delight.
Later that day, Sayuri heard her mother call her. "Sayuri! Sasuke! Come! We have important visitors today, and I want you to clean up." she informed them, when they reached the doorway.
Sayuri went inside and collected her smartest kimono, a furisode one (the ones geisha wear XD) and put it on.
She went to the large hall they were to dine in, her parents and her brothers as well a s these "important visitors" and she laid out their best crockery and chopsticks. she lit the candles, but as she did so, her body froze.
Something was watching her. she could feel it. She turned around after heeding warning of the hairs on her neck standing on end, and reached her eldest brother's eyes. they were distorted; she knew he had the Sharingan, but the tomoes were hooked and twisted. All of a sudden she found herself in another world of dull red and jet black. she could see her family surrounding her.
"Okasa? where am i?" she asked the silhouette resembling her mother. her mother turned round and looked at her with such intent in her eyes, Sayuri felt she would cry. Blood trickled from her mother's mouth and she fell.
One by one, her family, her clan, they were all being killed in front of her.
"Oniisan!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!!!! Help me!! HACHI!!!!!!!" she screamed asking for this mental torture to stop. Then she too, fell.
Her eyes re-opening, she was in the hall where they were to dine tonight. So it was the same day, the same time? But... she had been in that place for... days.... right?
Tears leaked from her eyes. Itachi was behind her. "O-Oniisan--!" she gasped.
"Run, little one. Before I kill you too."
she tried to scream, but no noise escaped. So she fled to her room collected her katana and fighting suit and the daisy she had just found and ran.
An ran. And ran and ran.
The present Sayuri sat in the snow. "Niisan... I found the last daisy" she gave a weak smile to the bitter air around her. "The last daisy of the winter season. Are you not proud?"
