"Yeah, yeah. If you say so. But I'm tellin' ya, the woman got ill on purpose. Now me and my team have got to wait until the Autumn before we can take the chuunin exam. How sucky." She scoffed "Of course I'll be around for the festival! Unless mother decides she wants us to spend the summer festival in Konoha." she frowed "She better not! As...interesting. As the ninja in Konoha are...they're a bit to happy for my liking." she giggled as they turned the corner for the tea house "Huh. Didn't think it'd be open this late." She opened the door "After you Mr. Ningyo." she smirked.

Roka smiled. “Well, you’ll pass anyway, and then you’ll just have more work to do when you’re done, so you might as well just take it easy while you’re still a genin…” He chuckled. “I don’t know if I’d call it too happy, so much as too hyper with most of them.”
“Neither did I…guess they changed the hours.” He shrugged, and also smirked. “Ladies first, Miss Taari.” The smell of the brewed liquid wafted out from the door and a woman at the counter looked up to see the arriving customers.

"Father said if I'm ever going to become one of the seven swordsmen, then I've got to do nothing BUT work hard for the rest of my life." She cursed under breath. Working hard wasn't something Reicheru enjoyed. Reicheru stepped into the tea house and cringed "Urg. This place still smells funny." The woman behined the counter stared at her "Oh yeah. I heard that you were back Miss Taari." she said shaking her head. "The usual I suppose?" Reicheru and Roka sat down. "You bet!" Reicheru grinned.

“Point taken. I’m not aiming for a title like that, but Jounin still requires a lot of work.” He chuckled when she cringed. He liked the smells of the different teas that came from the kitchen. Roka nodded to the woman. “Thanks, Kyoko-san.” And he relaxed casually into the seat.

"Heh... Well. Getting to a jounin rank would be fine and dandy for me too," she sipped her tea. "But hey... If it gets me a little more respect in this village, then I'd gladly work hard." she giggled. "But could you imagine me working hard?! I've never worked hard in my entire life!"

“A sure sign of the apocalypse.” Roka agreed solemnly, hiding his amused smirk behind another cup of the dark, steaming liquid. “How ever will you survive?”

Reicheru slammed her tea cup on the table, causing some of it to spill over the top and gave Roka one of her infamous "death glares". "You know... sarcasm is the lowest form of wit... and the highest form of ignorance." she nodded seeming quite proud of herself and her rather wise comment - Which didn't happen every day so she liked to make the most of it while she could.

Roka only smirked at her ‘death glare.’ It didn’t phase him, since he’d gotten use to the expression by now, and trading banter was a favored pastime. “Maybe, maybe not,” He conceded, “but I believe the person who said that was jealous they didn’t have a talent for it themselves. Besides, don’t they also say that ‘wise men make proverbs and fools repeat them?’”
