Haku nodded slowly in reply...and finally sighed softly. "I was born with some...abilities myself. Abilities that did not kill me, but destroyed my life...my childhood...and my family. It would have killed me eventually, because...no one really wanted me. People who are different are not always welcomed in this world. Especially a scrawny little orphan boy..."
He shook his head. "But after living on the streets for a time, I was eventually taken in by a man who was interested in my powers and...didn't care about the...incident in my past, so I suppose we were both saved." *hands her the pill pouch *

She clutched her coat and knocked on the door. It was frezing outside... Swell to be sent here by the elders to get foriegn medicine... in THE LAND OF FREAKING SNOW... Well, she tried to calm down a bit as the blizzard outside semed to get colder and colder by the second.

*She looks at Haku, a bit amazed, she chuckles lightly and looks at her empty cup.* Its... Kind of obvious that I'm not from these parts... or from any village. Anyone can tell by either the color of my skin, or how I have an accent when I talk. I was, amazed I was welcome to Leaf Village... I have different religious beliefs and not to mention... I'm not really a graduated ninja from there... *She shakes her head, and looks at Haku* You probably heard of it... America... "The states" I am from- *She heard the knock on the door, and got quiet*... Oh.. you have... a customer.

"Yes, I did notice your accent...and your appearance...though you do speak Japanese very well for a foreigner." Haku nodded. "Excuse me a moment, please." In his mission to help the pregnant woman out of the cold, he'd completely forgotten to actually close up his shop...
It was amazing that anyone was outside, though, as he could tell a storm was starting to pick up. Oh, well. Haku went to the door and opened it, ready to welcome the probably half-frozen soul inside. "May I help you, Miss?"

*She went back to snuggling up with herself. Spi-Pit wasn't around, but if he knew she was so far from her own home, he'd probably freak out on her slightly. But she had to come here alone to get some medicines.*

Sayuri was trudging along in the snow on her own. She couldn't wait for the snow to pick up! She sat against the side wall of the medicine shop. She could sense people were in there, so she'd go in later.

She stopped shivering when the door opened and heat flooded out. If anyone she knew saw her now, she'd be ruined! She had snow practicly piled on her head and shoulders and her 'travel' bird was almost fainting of cold before she summoned it back to it's proper scroll. She looked at what seemed to be the young lady standing at the entrance of the herb shop. "Uh, miss... I-I was sent he-ere by the elders o-of Konoha to get a certain-n herb for Tsunade-sama's new m-medication..." She tryed t talk normally, but her jaw seemed to almost be frozen shut, so she just handed the 'lady' the scroll about the certain herb the Hokage needed.

Indeed, this next traveler -was- half-frozen as he predicted, and naturally, he couldn't turn her away. Besides, her feathered companion, though he only saw it for a minute, had seemed ready to collapse. (Or to be put in someone's freezer and await being made into a Thanksgiving dinner...)
He resisted twitching in irritation at being mistaken for a "miss" and nodded, taking the scroll carefully. "Please, come inside. You must be tired after coming such a long way and you look very cold." He stepped aside to allow her to enter.
